CRAZY 3 WEEKS!

Holy cow! It has been the craziest last 3 weeks of my life! So, I had finals which went well and now finally done with the semester. I started hair school last tuesday and it is amazing! We have learned: womens hair cuts, perms, updo's, and all sorts of other stuff. I think I am most excited to learn color which we do next week! So exciting!! Last Wednesday, me and the girls left for New York! I was so excited to go shopping and I was very pleased with the end result :) We went to Statue of Libert, Empire State Building, Rockerfellar Center, China Town (we all know how much I love them ;) ) Soho, Central Park, Serendipity, FAO Schwartz, Hershey Factory, and M & M factory. There is a lot more but cant think right now :) I think our favorite was China Town because we got to go into secret hall ways and hidden rooms which was so crazy! I bought 4 purses! (1 for my mom) It was so fun to bargain and of course everyone made me do it for them because they were "too scared." Mothers day was on Sunday so we all got dressed up really nice and went to a steak house! It was so fun and they even had paper straws which was really weird! Anyways, THANKS MOM for the amazing experience :)

My career has been decided!!

As many of you know I have been busting my brain these last few months on what I want to be for the rest of my life! Since I was a little girl I wanted to be a cosmetologist or a lawyer like my daddy! I realized I would never be smart enough to be a lawyer in 8th grade so I only wanted to be a cosmetologist. As I graduated I decided I wanted to be something that would make a lot of money because we all know I shop way too much! So now that I am one semester from getting my associates my parents have really been beating on me to figure out what I want to be because I wont go back to school if I stop after my associates. Well, I thought long and hard and went from doctor to pharmacist to dental hygienist to teacher to business major back to doctor and it just never made sense to me what I wanted to be! Well, I have finally decided to follow my dreams and I am going to start hair school at Echelon Edge on May 5th! AWW. so excited!! It is a new school (replaced Francois D) and they just built their new facility on 114 s. 700 e. so it will be right between mine and alex' house which will be nice. I am so excited and hope that I will be able to make some money and build a clientele. I think i am most excited to do the fashion shows. I cant wait to do my first model and do their hair and make up! <3 I made this decision because it would be better to be happy and and less successful then to be rich and miserable. Well, wish me luck and I will keep you posted on how it goes! Hopefully you all can come get your hair done by me while I am in school too! :)

PutTiN a RiNg oN iT!

As most of you know, many of my best friends have gotten married already or are engaged! Melissa and Tyler got married Dec. 2007, Ariean and Tyler got married July 2008, Brittnee and Neal got married Dec. 2008, Emilee and Brody are getting married in May, and Gile and Kenzi are getting married in September! It is crazy to think we are old enough to be out on our own but I am so happy for them! I wished we stayed in contact more but I know that they are truly happy and am glad that I got to and get to share their weddings with them! Here are some pictures from their weddings.

So, last night Alex had to go film for his class so since dad was in Vegas with my brothers so me and my mom decided to have a date! We first couldn't decide what to do.. Our list was: go to the Jazz game, go to Deseret Star and see "American Fork Idol", or go to Texas Road House and watch a movie. So, when my mom got home from work, we got all fancied up and decided to go to Texas Road House for dinner. I called and got our name on the list and they said it was going to take 95 minutes so we decided to go look at the new Nordstrom Rack behind our neighborhood. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything but I did go the DSW next to it and got some really cute open toed black shoes! After, we went and ate at Texas Road House and you should be all proud! Mom only ate one roll and I only had one BITE of a roll! (pats please!) So, after we ate we drove over to the bowling alley and while we were waiting for a lane we decided we would rather go to NickelMania and play arcade games! Our new favorite is "Deal or No Deal." In the cases is how many tickets you could win and it is o-so addicting! All together we got 500 tickets so we got 20 tattoos, matching bracelets, and some funny sunglasses with a clown nose connected to them! After we finished at NickelMania, mom wanted Frozen Yogurt so we went to a new place called "Frogurt" and it was so "nummy!" It is like buffet style and the kind we got was coconut and cheesecake flavored. Then you go and you can put all different kind of toppings on them such as cookie dough, twix, granola, strawberries, cheesecake bites, etc. After we ate our Frogurt we went home and took pictures with our funny glasses! I'll have to post the pictures as soon as I download them! All in All it was one of the best nights with my BiF!
